Parent Involvement.

Education succeeds best when there is a strong partnership between home and school, a partnership that thrives on communication and involvement. We want our children to be happy and successful at Henderson ISD Middle School. In addition to what happens in the classroom, we believe that your support and involvement are essential to your child's success. Research shows that a child who knows that his or her family is interested in and supportive of school programs will almost always have more success and fewer problems.

As an active PTO, we believe that communication among parents, students, and teachers is critical, so we invite you to be our partner in education. Share your child's special needs with his or her teacher. Consider volunteering in our school and joining HMS Parent-Teacher Organization.  It'a a great way to reinforce your interest in education to your child. 

You'll meet some wonderful new friends and have fun in the process.
